River City Youth Hockey

River City Youth Hockey (RCYH) is a community-based, volunteer-run organization committed to growing the game of hockey in a positive, inclusive, and developmentally focused environment.

RCYH is proud to be affiliated with USA Hockey and WAHA (Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association), and we operate in accordance with their guidelines for player development and coach certification.

Whether your child is just learning to skate or has years of experience, RCYH offers a welcoming and supportive place to play, grow, and connect through hockey.

Please note: If your family lives outside of our association boundaries, WAHA requires that you first receive a release from your home association before joining RCYH.

Ages

RCYH programming aligns with USA Hockey and WAHA standards. Classifications are based on birth year:

8U (Mite) – Age 8 & Under
10U (Squirt) – Age 10 & Under
12U (Peewee) – Age 12 & Under
14U (Bantam) – Age 14 & Under

Saturday: 10:15-11:15am (Standard) & 11:15-11:45am (Learn to Skate)

Monday: 5:00-6:00pm

Thursday: 7:00-8:00pm

Peewees (12U)

Mite Equipment Information

RCYH Provides Mite equipment

River City Youth Hockey is committed to making hockey financially accessible so all kids have the opportunity to enjoy the game of hockey.

At the Mite (8U) level, we provide all safety equipment, a hockey bag, a practice jersey, and a game jersey. Equipment rental is FREE for first year Mites. Returning Mites pay a low fee of $50/season to rent equipment.

Families must supply their own hockey skates, stick and game socks.

Have your own gear?

No problem! RCYH waives the equipment fee for families utilizing their own equipment.

Deposit checks for fundraising and volunteer requirements will be collected during the first week of practice.
