GameSheet Scoring Tutorial
What is GameSheet?
RCYH uses GameSheet for electronic scorekeeping during games and tournaments. GameSheet replaces the traditional paper scoresheet with an iPad-based scoring system used to record goals, assists, penalties, goalie information, and other official game details.
Once a game is complete and uploaded, GameSheet creates the official electronic scoresheet and updates applicable game results, standings, and statistics.
Volunteering as a GameSheet Scorekeeper
No previous GameSheet experience is required! GameSheet provides quick-start guides and short video tutorials to help you learn the basics before your shift.
Scorekeepers use the provided iPad to record:
- Goals and assists
- Penalties
- Goalie information and changes
- Coach and referee signatures
- Other required game events
Scorekeepers work with the game clock operator and referees to ensure the official scoresheet is accurate.
Want some hands-on practice? Shadowing an experienced parent volunteer is a great way to learn. Contact your Team Manager to set up a time to shadow.
